I was conducting a little research on
Amazon for a book I am working on about exporting (due out February 2014 by
Apress) and discovered Amazon opened on the Web in 1995 as the world's largest bookstore. Today they are "the
Earth’s most customer-centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online, and endeavors to offer its customers the lowest possible prices.”
Amazon went from
zero to more than $21 billion in sales in eighteen years. It goes without saying that anybody can win on the Internet. You just need a brilliant idea and execution skills!
